Angie came to I-ACT for Children in February 2020. She is a highly experienced professional in the field of pediatric clinical trials, with a strong background in nursing and research administration. Before joining I-ACT, Angie spent 13 years at Nemours Children’s Hospital. During her time there, she took on various roles. Notably, she played a key role in developing a Research Quality Assurance and Education program. Angie is a dedicated professional with a wealth of experience in pediatric clinical trials and a passion for improving the field. Angie holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies and Psychology from the University of Central Florida. She earned a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) in Clinical Research Administration from George Washington University. Angie is also a certified research coordinator, having maintained this certification for over 20 years. In addition, Angie has shared her expertise and insights by presenting at various conferences, including DIA (Drug Information Association), ACRP (Association of Clinical Research Professionals), SOCRA (Society of Clinical Research Associates), and Cystic Fibrosis Conferences.
