I-ACT for Children Adds 2 Members to their Board of Directors
I-ACT for Children is pleased to announce two additional appointments to the Board of Directors. Daniel M. Jorgensen, MD, MPH, MBA and Tamorah Lewis, MD, PhD were introduced to the Board of Directors for their first meeting in February 2023. Dr. Jorgensen is an accomplished physician executive with 25 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, in both small and large companies, public and private, including C-level positions for the past 12 years. Currently, he serves as the CEO of Critical Path Institute (C-Path) and is a member of the Audit, Finance and Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors.
Dr. Lewis is a physician scientist and the Division Head for Clinical Pharmacology and Toxicology at SickKids in Toronto, Ontario starting Feb 1, 2022. In this role, Dr Lewis will help advance the hospital-wide vision for Precision Child Health and collaborate with multiple clinical divisions to research and implement precision therapeutics. Dr. Lewis will continue to provide clinical care in the level IV NICU at SickKids. She will serve as a Director on the Board of Directors.
